Queer wine with Grapeland and obscure and very danceable international club music. Karmaklubb* fall kickoff at ↗︎ Khartoum Contemporary Art Center (KCAC) we have been looking forward to this night for months! The night starts with DJ Oddvar’s obscure but so (!) danceable pop and world music from the 60s and 70s, collected from the Middle East and Southeastern Asia. We continue into the night with Kristin E’s contemporary international club — heavy bass, and warm queer tracks. Oddvar, whos real name is Merethe, is a film maker from Vestlandsfjordland. They has filled the backpack with good, old vinyl. Kristin E has traveled from the Eastern coast of Norway and gathered music from ↗︎ Klubb Rosin (Vaktbua, Kristiansand). We promise an unusual night.
Tonight’s ‘queer wine’ is hosted by Grapeland. Enjoy! Please bring yourself and the nicest people you know. * Girls and such. We do not discriminate.
