“()New Loop() is a work circling around how to experience art and if the museum can act as a space for creating new meanings, meetings and methods, both to already existing works but also new works. The loops use performance as an engine for research and trying to relate to systems of power, history and value, but also using it as a method to make social situations and conversations happen. The work will start and end with a guided tour in the 30 July and 2 September and in between it will be 9 solos, reflecting and rebalancing in between the idea of what a process and a set performance is, and how this situation can be met by a public. The work is realized and made together with amazing ↗︎ Oda Bjørholm and ↗︎ Sebastian Biong. ↗︎ Marie Søe has been creating beautiful costumes, and it is all becoming by the invitation from ↗︎ Randi Godø and ↗︎ Geir Haraldseth whom I’ve had ongoing conversations with about this work, for the past two years.” It is possible to catch 11 performances by 2 September.
