A project by Karmaklubb* in collaboration with Tony Cokes, made for ‘Today Is Our Tomorrow (TIOT)’, Helsinki, September 2019. The poster comes with the quote ‘Club culture doesn't mean anything in isolation.’ a rework for the occasion made by Cokes, extracted from the video 3# (2001, Pop Manifestos series). And, the paper is solid colour, ↗︎ FSC certified. Just sayin.
The shirts comes in three variations: First is the ‘Club culture doesn't mean anything in isolation.’ Second: ‘If you want to evolve something, first you need a space so people can get together and exchange whatsoever they’re going to exchange.’ — quote Ahmet Sisman in conversation with Tony Cokes, from ‘Mixing Plant’, Urbane Künste Ruhr, Essen, 2019. Last is the emoji ‘rainbow’, quote Karolinski, 2019.
