This is not just a piece of fabric. It is a blind date set up to talk about ‘art and being alive’. It is ↗︎ meeting Ragnhild by midnight in September (a second date arranged by exchanging phone numbers and GPS coordinates), connecting through the fascination of the often underestimated potential of ugly, about words and language issues in general, ↗︎ even hearing Ragnhild sing in the darkness. It is a conversation that continues. For the gnome — janusgnomen — it is neither good or bad, beautiful or ugly; it is all, in between, perhaps less common, and skilled with many talents.
