Our first ale is named after the craziness of 2016 and early 2017 — the year of the ‘fire monkey’ according to some. To us is was a year of good and bad things (queerness, Trump, and much more) and the time when the nights filled of good karma became Karmaklubb* for real. We thought the spells of the ape would end; we were wrong!! It still goes on. In any case it kicked off the row of Karma* ales named after different living species and plants. For the name, ape, it means ‘monkey’ or ‘ape’. Brewed by Inga Greve, part of the Humlepupp network and probably one of the most prominent female kettle knights in the country.
