Her Beloved Highness ↗︎ Frida. Frida Marida is a Lebanese art performer living in Oslo, that tackles social and political issues through music, fashion concepts, and speeches. Introducing Middle Eastern music — which is Frida’s strength — into famous international songs is the main aesthetic direction of Frida’s art while dealing with discrimination, racism, and homophobia. In the Arabic language, Frida means ‘special’, and Marida means ‘sick’. Frida’s story is a lesson to share about body shaming, feeling inferior, emotional abuse, and inequality. Frida Marida is a superhero. When it comes to the hops: ↗︎ Galaxy is a beautiful tropical one from a place called Perle, Australia. Think peach, passion, some citric sting from the lime. ↗︎ Mosaic is common for pale ales and IPAs with notes of herbs and pines, papaya and other tropical fruit, citric and grassy. Seductive, intriguing, impossible to stay ignorant; just like Frida.
This year we once again gather with friends and family from around this beautiful globe; Queering art spaces, clubs and cribs, an old warehouse, an x-factory, a former airport, even forests. It is a lot of festivity going on. — Join us?! Please do. *** UPDATE: ↗︎ Launching by the Rainbow Street at RØØR, 15 June! ***
