Inish (NOR): “A track honouring the revolutionary voice of Raquel Willis from a BTLM protest in Brooklyn during Pride last year. This production was initiated last September and for this pride I revisited the track to create a version echoing today’s emotional soundscape. Our fight for the freedom and safety of queer and trans people of colour is far from over. The track exhibits on Ergi (SCANDINAVIA) and Karmaklubb* platform, launching 2 July 2021, and was released 25 June on the label Spirals (NOR). Oh, so you thought Pride ended for now? NEVER. Once again Karmaklubb* join forces with Ergi (SCANDINAVIA) for a virtual celebration going international — all summer! You see, Ergi has been busy the past months inviting artists, DJs, and performers from the Nordics — among them Karmaklubb* — to participate in a queer digital extravaganza, spanning the official Pride months in Norway (June), Finland (June–July), Sweden and Denmark (July–August) as well as Iceland (August). The dripping hot green domain ↗︎ Ergi.xyz becomes home to 19 contributions from artists and DJs working in Norway as well as abroad, and over the next months this platform will be updated with new contributions from the region. And our contributions will be stored in the goldmine of Karmaklubb* (↗︎ this one) post festival.
