↗︎ Wet Mess, TESTO:

  • Friday, 14 November, Store scene at 7 PM (60 min)
  • Saturday, 15 November, Store scene, 6 PM (60 min)

“In TESTO, Wet Mess wet messifies the messiness of life with teeth and one chin hair; exploring transitions, testosterone, the edges of drag, the blurry line between performance and reality, character and self, and the magical in the mundane. Meet me at the computer of confused edges, for some guttural sexuality, too many images, where the made up shit becomes real. Wearing our insides on the outsides, and waiting for the hateful crunchy key change. Expect moustache meals, desktop dreams, dykey desires, underwhelming overwhelm, trotting, lolling, humping, titting, farting, pinching at the dull flesh of life here and here and here and here and here and here. It’s quite like, uh, I just back away, I, don’t perceive me, I’m in the wall.

Hoping you will understand,
Sincerely Wet xx”

To Appear Without Performing

A quiet but powerful work, foXXY boXXY questions how bodies are seen, represented, and understood on stage. At its center is the travesti body—a queer and gender-nonconforming identity rooted in Latin American trans communities. Here, the body does not act as a symbol or role. It appears simply as itself, in all its complexity and contradiction. foXXY boXXY begins with a refusal—a refusal of traditional theater, with its clear stories, fixed roles, and neat endings. Instead of telling a tale, it opens up space for a different kind of presence—one that resists being explained or categorized. Through layers of poetic text, sound, space, and theory, the piece challenges the usual rules of performance and spectacle. A central part of the work is a durational installation: a live video stream showing a body lying on a mattress in another room. The body is present, but only as an image—delayed, blurred, and fragile. The space between viewer and body is shaped by distance, mediation, and distortion. foXXY boXXY unfolds as a form of performative cinema, blurring the lines between screen and stage, presence and representation. It doesn’t offer answers. It doesn’t perform. Instead, it asks us to stay with what cannot be fully seen or known. Created by the performance collective p0rn0t0pia, foXXY boXXY explores what it means to be seen but not reached, to speak without being fully heard, to exist without needing to explain. It becomes a quiet but urgent act of resistance—against the violence and marginalization that trans and travesti people face in everyday life. Creating a space like this is both a political act and a deep gesture of care.

Note: The performance includes strobe lights, direct address to the audience, sexual imagery, and limited space. There is also a possibility of getting wet during the performance, and seating is available only for people with reduced mobility. Recommended age-limit: 16.

Endnotes

Access and Equity Statement from p0rn0t0pia collective, supported by Karmaklubb* and Black Box teater: We are committed to creating spaces that center those most often excluded from cultural institutions — particularly trans, travesti, racialised, migrant, and crip communities. We recognize that systemic barriers, economic precarity, and institutional violence continue to shape who gets to access performance spaces, both as audience and as creators. For this reason, we offer discounted or free admission (↗︎ amend here) for individuals from these communities. If this applies to you, you are welcome — no explanation or documentation is needed. This is not a gesture of generosity, but part of our political commitment to dismantling the exclusions we live with. If you have access needs or questions, feel free to reach out.

Much warmth to introducing us for p0rn0t0pia years ago; a virtual meeting finally going IRL.
