*** Karmaklubb* & Friends at MUNCH: A two-day international queer festival that marks the official opening of Oslo Pride 2022. Approx. 22.5 hours of thought and pleasure, art, Drag and Joy, Burlesque, Vogue, dance, clubbing — all by the sea. A chapter of the Karmaklubb* ‘Queering the Museum’ investigations. Welcome! Produced in collaboration with each and every one of the beauties involved. Friday programme warmly with Skeiv Verden / Queer World. ***

In the Amfi in the lobby, on both days of the festival, you can experience the new video work SM BNGRZ.03.01–03 by American artist Tony Cokes, which addresses meanings, ambitions and dreams concerning (queer) club culture in post-pandemic times. The material includes voices collected from texts produced by Karmaklubb*, amongst others. More about the work ↗︎ here.
