We are proud to collaborate with ↗︎ Konsept X, ↗︎ Bergen Kjøtt and ↗︎ Bergen Kunsthall, Landmark on this one-night event consisting of conversations, art, great people, and a safe and open environment. All within a queer-oriented feminist perspective. This evening we want to raise the questions ‘who’s seen and heard, and what makes a space feel safe and inclusive?; How can creative platforms and voluntary organizations stay creative and innovative during a global pandemic, and how do we reach a common goal of a culture open for all?' We have invited individuals and institutions who work specifically with these important but also complex questions locally — to explore, discuss, and learn. Including ↗︎ Bergen Kjøtt (hosting);↗︎ Bergen Kunsthall, Landmark (hosting); ↗︎ Drastic Social / ↗︎ Bertha Chan (panel); ‘↗︎ golden jar’ (there); ↗︎ Ilham Hassan (photo documentation); ↗︎ Kaeto Sweeney / ASTERISK (panel); Karmaklubb* (organiser and panel); ↗︎ Konsept X (organizer, panel and DJing); ↗︎ Minotenk / ↗︎ Stina Ihle Amankwah; ↗︎ Nikima Jagudajev (panel); ↗︎ Papillon / (panel); ↗︎ Paulina Tamara (photos and virtually); ↗︎ SAGA / ↗︎ Inish Hedén Næss (panel): Sara K. Heilevang (written encounter for Karmaklubb*); ↗︎ Shelmith Øseth (dance); you! For the occasion it will be a very special performance by ↗︎ Shelmit called RED — an experimental dialogue between movement and sound, where novel languages are formed between gesture and audible relations.
The conversation will be held in English and be live streamed ↗︎ *HERE*. FB event for those who prefer such, ↗︎ here.
