and : ‘What does it mean to be public? Bodies in Transformative Alliance’
What: This presentation questions the meaning of the ‘space of appearance’ today. It will look at how the democratic space of discussion once relegated to the physical space of assembly — of coming together as a form of claiming change — happened at the intersection of different architectures — including the street, the square, the pavement — has now moved on the fringes of the physical and the digital sphere; here aggregation of masses assume a complete different meaning. We will look at the intersection of these spaces to understand how art continues to be a social space, creating new assemblies and alternative parliaments.
UPDATE: Dear listeners, future participants, please enjoy this reference list to the presentation by Antonio and Anushka. Might be useful! And here is the full presentation that was made and included as an excerpt in the stream:

: ‘Aufhebung — a bedtime story’, from now on ↗︎ The Backstreet Boys!!!
What: Entangled fiction and critical praxis; The Backstreet Boys focuses on kinship and mothering from the point of view of one person’s sporadic life story. Their story begins in college and moves through various influential encounters that grapple with entanglement, boundaries, and the structures necessary for them to commit to Love. The Backstreet Boys also looks at kinship as an antithesis to the institutionalization of family, pedagogy, and identity, and mothering as an un-gendered political practice; a social responsibility towards the future of this planet. Nikima invites us to take part in a short conversation and a late-night reading. Duration will be approximately 70 minutes. Grab your pillows and get in a comfortable position while listening! PS: We have heard rumours the title is changes to The Backstreet Boys. More about that tonight. If it is true, and why. Update: It is true. Listen and you will know more.
