A belated Valentine’s and passionate celebratory revolt in the most jolly sense — and a rave, they claim — whatever; some magic and true clubbing we will serve. A huge double greatness. Queerness and joy. Venues: Kunsthall Trondheim and Bodegaen, Studentersamfundet (the round building; an architectonic pearl). We start at the Kunsthall for lounge and a sort of varieté by the artists involved before we continue in the ‘rotunda’ for club with pop-ups, all painted in neon and delight. ISFiT is the world’s largest international student festival, taking place biennially in February in Trondheim, Norway. They gather students from different national and cultural backgrounds to talk and connect through exciting and engaging topics and discussions. The first ever ISFiT festival was held in 1990. Karmaklubb* is a platform for gatherings, thought and pleasure, that always aim to create spaces where diverse (gender) expressions are welcome to act out, perhaps be discovered. Polarization is not only about contradicting opinions; looking at e.g., physics, it can point at magnetic poles and/or ‘displacement’ of (electrically) charged entities. The term brings us even closer to our agenda; ‘accentuation of differences’ — in which we will be celebrating this night by looking at the whole range, and what is in-between the poles and binaries. We can promise a glimpse into the art of Drag, twists of Burlesque, dance, beautiful people, clubbing, Queerness and joy. A celebration of Love, a belated Valentine’s. And we will bring our Family from the South together with the local scene. — Speaking about poles; there will be pole, too.
